What starts as a seemingly simple decision to keep the money descends into paranoia, mistrust, and violence as the friends struggle with greed and morality.

Reviews praise the sharp dark humour, the crescendo of tension, and strong performances. Overall this is a great dark comedy thriller from Boyle, who went on to direct another Edinburgh based classic, Trainspotting.
